Got this message as moderator of Bimmerboard, quote:
Hello,A friend of mine was hired to clean out a basement here in Atlanta and discovered that it is full of vintage 2002 parts - wheels, body panels, electric parts, gaskets, hubcaps, shocks, transaxles, etc.
It is all scheduled to go to the metal recycler (some of it was picked over by the woman's stepson), but I really would like to see if anyone local is interested in buying some of these parts before they become part of the junk heap of society.
The guy who collected all the parts used to write for Roundel. Last name is Erwin. Dan Erwin, I think.
At any rate, please put out the word to your folks and if anyone is interested, they can contact me at smjbrophy@yahoo.com or 404-433-3002. There is a ton of stuff there and I have access.
My thanks
Steve Brophy
