I recently dropped an SES module in my '01 740 Sport and everything had been working fine. A couple days later, a friend and I installed my Intravee II setup complete with Alpine KCA-420i and DICE DA converter, and now the voice prompts from the SES are no longer occurring. The SES itself is working fine, just no voice. My Nav voice prompts are still working fine however. I've disconnected the battery, but the issue is still present.

Does the SES voice prompt require the CDC (which we removed) for any reason?

Could this be caused by our patching into the wrong wire to power the DA converter?

I'm at a loss
