Mine would start ok when cold, but would take a long time to start when warm. Once started it would run ok, but not wonderfully. Turned out to be a bad fuel pressure regulator; pulled the vacuum hose off of it while it was running and got gasoline bubbling out of the vacuum port. Replaced the FPR with one from a junker, and the engine starts in 2-3 seconds, every time.
